Ethan Burton began his journey in martial arts in May 2018 at the age of 22, seeking a physical outlet to improve his health and stay active. Encouraged by a friend to "try it out" for a month, Ethan quickly discovered his passion for martial arts, and he has never looked back.
He holds a first-degree black belt in Kenpo and finds joy in practicing the Tiger and Crane form, which he feels beautifully integrates many elements of Kenpo into a cohesive practice.
Ethan believes that martial arts found him rather than the other way around. Through his training, he has come to appreciate Kenpo not just as a martial art, but as an effective means of self-defense that embodies street-smart techniques.
As an instructor, he loves witnessing students push themselves beyond their comfort zones and develop confidence they never knew they had. Outside of martial arts, Ethan is a graduate of Apass Weikel Real Estate School and hails from Danville, KY. His hobbies include traveling, hiking, fishing, and sharing his love for music through playing guitar and singing.
Additionally, he enjoys cooking and exploring new culinary creations. With his enthusiasm for martial arts and a genuine desire to help others grow, Ethan is a valuable member of the ROC Martial Arts team.
